If you get a bit tired of eating pasta and pizza everyday, you should give this place a try.
Servers were prompt and sweet. Our server in particular, was young and inexperienced but she sure did try her best to accommodate our request in English.
Surprisingly there were no salad options so I debated whether I should take one star out just for that.
Other than no salad in their menu, everything else was great. We were seated out on terrace and the view was lovely.
All three of us were satisfied with our meal and miso was quite nice.
It's pricey but I think it's not too bad. -

It's pretty difficult to find Asian food in Italy... or good Asian food anyway. But we saw this place and gave it a try. From the outside, you would never think Japanese Food. It was a very nice looking restaurant, close to San Marco. The food itself was descent. Not authentic but pretty good. Menu was fairly limited, it's not like a full on Japanese restaurant. But wow, can you say worst service EVER!!! I mean, honestly, we had to wait forever for someone to even acknowledge us. Then we wait forever again for someone to take our order. We finally order and then we start getting things one by one. Not at the same time. And then literally, we asked about our drinks like ten times. Finally she brings one beer. Then one tea. Then the other tea. And then water. It was ridiculous. Oh, the best was, we asked for hot sauce. Again, we wait. We FINISHED our meal. The plates were clean. She brings us our hot sauce. I asked her what is this? She says the hot sauce we asked for. I told her we were done eating. She looked puzzled, like do you not want it anymore?!?!?! Wow. I was just beside myself. And then, we wanted to order more food. If you don't know, food portions in Europe are pretty small. So we asked to order more. But of course, it took forever to get the girl's attention to even order. So we put in our order, there were other people in the restaurant still getting food as well. Another girl then comes back to us and tells us we can't order anything else because the kitchen is closed. In the meantime, I see other people continuing to be served food. WTF.

This sushi restaurant was a little difficult to find through some of the alley ways behind Saint Marcos Square. However, we really enjoyed the sushi. Also, they have a rooftop terrace offering an abbreviated sushi menu and yummy drinks. The terrace was very nice. They had live music with a beautiful Spanish singer. Very pleasant. The restaurant menu was a little pricey, but very enjoyable.

OMG this place. This was our favorite meal of our trip. Pleasant setting, excellent location (very close to San Marco), fabulous sushi & sake. We went for lunch and it was perfect.
